Senior hires and promotions at Zappi

US – Consumer insights platform Zappi has made three internal promotions and two appointments in its customer transformation, accounts and consulting teams.

Zontziry Johnson (pictured), part of Zappi’s futures team, has been promoted to vice-president of consulting solutions. Johnson joined the company in 2019 from Microsoft as vice-president of customer transformation.

In the new role, she will create new service layers and expand the network of Zappi-certified consultants globally.

The company has also promoted Patricia Montesdeoca, formerly vice-president of customer transformation, to senior vice-president, customer transformation lead.

Montesdeoca will be responsible for growing and leading the team and simplifying leveraging of data for the company’s customers.

Zappi has also appointed Allison Scott as senior director, customer transformation, with a remit to assist in leading the team. Scott has previously held senior insights and marketing roles at Unilever and Colgate-Palmolive.

Michelle Wu, formerly of Zappi’s sales team, has joined the team as director, customer transformation specialist.

Additionally, the company has appointed Mary Lou Barney as vice-president, strategic accounts, Americas. Barney was previously vice-president of account development at Fuel Cycle and has held senior roles at Ipsos and Synovate.

Stephen Phillips, chief executive officer, Zappi, said: “We are thrilled to welcome and learn from the talent that Montesdeoca, Scott, Wu, Johnson, and Barney bring to the table and are confident their direction will have a great impact on the company’s success.”

The new hires and promotions follow a senior leadership restructure at Zappi, with the company splitting its leadership into two teams focused on innovation and operations.
