River promotes executives and adds to team

UK — River Research has strengthened its team with a series of appointments and promotions across the company, including a new focus on digital communities and its Asia-Pacific research offering.

The agency has promoted Nicola Marsh (pictured) to the post of research manager. She will continue to handle key accounts such as Nokia, PepsiCo and Kraft, and will also be responsible for organising monthly training and social sessions. She joined River as a research executive in March 2011.

Max Roche has also been promoted to senior research executive for accounts including Carphone Warehouse, TMS and Ikea. He joined River as part of their graduate recruitment programme in December 2010.

New recruits at the firm include Alice Smith, a dedicated graphic designer to drive and develop all design led outputs; Michelle Li has joined from Precipice Design as a research executive to support the Asia-Pacific research offering; Tom Skilbeck joins as associate director from InSites Consulting to head up the agency’s new digital communities offer and Mary Waireri joins from FreshMinds as a senior research executive.
