R/GA creates head of data role

UK – Hanan Belarbi has been appointed by full service digital agency R/GA as its head of data, responsible for expanding its global data strategy across its services as well as helping clients on their data capabilities.

Belarbi (pictured) was previously head of data Europe at Naked Communications, which she joined in 2014, and worked with data scientist, and data and insight analysts. While at Naked she developed customer segmentations and attribution models for Virgin Atlantic, Surfstitch and eBay among others.

She worked at Wunderman before Naked where she was customer insight manager on the Shell account.

She will be based in London and report to Andrew Lam-Po-Tang, executive director for consulting in EMEA.
