Research leaders named National Centre for Social Research trustees
Kantar’s chief operations officer James Brooks (pictured, right), Professor Alison Park, deputy executive chair at the ESRC (pictured, left), University of Strathclyde’s associate principal Professor Ian Rivers, and Nina Skero, chief executive at the Centre for Economics and Business Research (Cebr), will take up their roles on NatCen’s board of trustees in November.
They will work with the board, chaired by Sir Stuart Etherington, to support the strategic direction and development of NatCen.
NatCen’s chief executive, Michael Davis, joined the organisation from Kantar in 2024, succeeding Guy Goodwin.
Etherington said: “NatCen’s board of trustees provides guidance to ensure the organisation achieves its vision for growth, while meeting its charitable objectives and delivering the high-quality social research it is known and respected for.
“I am very pleased to welcome James, Alison, Ian and Nina to our board. All bring excellent expertise and strategic value to the governance of the organisation, and their experience and leadership in research will be invaluable as we continue delivering on our ambitious strategy.”
