Repucom makes Stainer UK & Ireland MD

Stainer originally joined Sports Marketing Surveys (SMS) in 2000, and worked across its clients and events including three Olympic Games and two FIFA World Cups providing insights and strategic advice to clients.

In 2012, he was involved in the integration of the SMS business following its acquisition by Repucom. He has since been a member of the management team that has spearheaded the subsequent growth of Repucom’s London operation.

In this role Stainer will continue to work with clients including HSBC, City Football Group, Volvo Ocean Race, Rolex and European Tour.

Stainer will be based in the company’s London office and report directly to the CEO, Paul Smith.
