US – Nielsen has announced it will acquire the sports and entertainment insights consultancy Repucom, for an undisclosed amount.
No details of the deal have been revealed which is expected to be completed within the next few weeks.
This acquisition will boost Nielsen’s sports offering which currently consists of Nielsen Sports, which covers analytics, ad measurement and ratings in the sector.
Repucom was founded in 2004 in Sydney, Australia and has since expanded into 18 countries, employing 1400 people.
