Rep Data launches voter matched sample feature
The feature is available through Rep Data’s demand-side platform Research Desk and allows users to access pre-matched voters verified by L2, which provides data mapping for voter information.
The tool will allow users to create target segments based on voter behaviour and demographics, confirm the authenticity of panellists, analyse correlations between past voting behaviour and current opinions or preferences, make sure samples are representative, and apply additional demographics such as hobbies and interests or buying habits.
Rep Data said voter-matched data could be used in consumer research, public opinion studies, targeted marketing, policy impact analysis or advocacy on behalf of non-profit groups.
The feature release comes ahead of the US presidential election, which is due to take place in November this year.
Pat Stokes, chief executive officer at Rep Data, said: “Historically, purchasing voter matched sample has been a cumbersome process.
“By integrating with our API-connected suppliers who have matched their respondents with L2 data, we are able to leverage voter-matched targeting to engage verified respondents in real-time – making the process faster and more efficient and the data more reliable.”
Vignesh Krishnan, chief technology officer at Rep Data, added: “As the 2024 US election season ramps up, we’re excited to be able to offer this industry-first offering to researchers.
“But this integration will be useful far beyond this year’s election cycle, offering a valuable resource to public opinion researchers and polling professionals.”
