US— Movie broadcaster Eurocinema has signed Rentrak to provide video on demand (VOD) measurement services in the US and Canada.
The firm specialises in offering contemporary European cinema to viewers in North America via cable, satellite and broadband and will use Rentrak’s OnDemand Essentials tool to gather information about its audience.
Eurocinema CEO Sebastien Perioche said: “Rentrak’s service allows us to better understand our audience preferences and maximise our marketing efforts. It is a very useful tool for us when it comes down to choosing our programming.”
Last month distribution company Alliance Films signed a similar deal with Rentrak to prove VOD measurement services.
