Alliance Films signs Rentrak for video on-demand measurement

The firm will use Rentrak’s OnDemand Essentials service to measure which films are watched through cable operators Cocego Cable, MTS, Rogers Cable, Sasktel, Shaw Cable, Telus and Videotron.

Carol Hinnant, Rentrak’s SVP of business development for advanced media, said: “Alliance Films will be able to better analyse how viewers consume their content so they can maximise their future viewership and revenue opportunities with both new movie releases and library titles.”
