US— Rentrak has won two new TV audience measurement clients in the shape of Spanish-language education network HITN and Canadian private broadcaster CTV.
HITN (Hispanic Information Television Network) will use Rentrak’s TV Essentials set-top-box service to gauge its audience’s viewing preferences.
The broadcaster’s founder and president Jose Luis Rodriguez said: “Rentrak will help us tap into our audience in a more strategic way to maximise the value of our programming for our viewers.”
Meanwhile, CTV will use Rentrak’s OnDemand Essentials service to better understand how its video-on-demand content is performing and to help optimise viewership and potential ad sales.
