US— Media researcher Rentrak has entered into extended employment agreements with CEO Bill Livek and COO and CFO David Chemerow, taking them through to 2015.
Both men joined the firm in 2009, with Livek bringing Chemerow on board to help support him in his task of turning Rentrak into “a multi-screen measurement and research powerhouse”, in the words of former chairman Paul Rosenbaum.
The company provides measurement services in the area of TV, video-on-demand and cinema box office receipts. Its most recent results, for the three months ended 30 September, showed revenue in its advanced media information division up 17% to $9.3m. Revenue as a group, including home entertainment services revenue, was down down 9% to $21.9m.
