Qualtrics names CTO

Potter (pictured) was previously at companies including Cognos, IBM and Qlik, where he spent a decade. His most recent role was leading product, engineering, IT, data and security at Petal.
At Qualtrics, Potter will focus on core infrastructure, technical velocity and system reliability, as well as supporting the company’s work in AI.
Potter said: “I have spent the better part of my career building platforms at scale, the kind of work that requires deep technical conviction, strong collaboration and a relentless focus on what customers actually need.
“That is what drew me to Qualtrics. The opportunity to help define what our XM data and AI platform means in practice, and to build the infrastructure that delivers on that promise, is one I could not pass up.”
