Prophet acquires (r)evolution to bolster strategic portfolio

US— Brand consultancy Prophet has acquired insight and brand positioning specialists (r)evolution for an undisclosed amount. The firm’s offices and staff will be maintained in the latter’s existing Atlanta headquarters.

Founded in 2003 by managing principals Brian Hankin and Brad White, who will become partners of Prophet, (r)evolution works with brands such as AT&T, Amstel Light, Carlsberg, Crowne Plaza, and Georgia-Pacific to help with analytics-based strategies for innovative thinking.

Prophet says the acquisition serves to further deepen its capabilities in strategic services for clients and its ability to work in multiple functions in R&D, innovation and brand management.
