Pinterest chooses UK for first ad campaign
Pinterest has reportedly signed a deal with Channel 4 to run ads around style, food and parenting programming: if a user is watching a particular programme, they will be shown an ad relevant to that content.
Up to 50 versions of a 10-second ad will be created for 20 different programmes over the course of the seven-month campaign, which is intended to give people in the UK a better understanding of how Pinterest can be used in their everyday life.
The campaign will also include contextual digital outdoor ads that will adapt to factors such as location, time of day, and cultural and seasonal elements.
