The latest appointments and promotions in the global market research and consumer insight industry. This week: Pulse Group, DDB UK, SCB Partners, Peryam & Kroll, Spanish Broadcasting Systems, The Marketing Workshop, Mesh Planning, TNS, iKnowtion and Questor.

Pulse Group has hired former Gartner research analyst Carmen Endrina to lead client development on the west coast of the US.

Communications agency DDB UK has named ITV’s former head of business information and customer data strategy Shorful Islam as head of data for DDB Matrix.

Trends-based insights consultancy SCB Partners has appointed Dal Mahil as senior strategy consultant. Mahil spent the previous six years as an associate director at ICM Research.

Chicago-based marketing and sensory research firm Peryam & Kroll has named James Ondyak as president and CEO. Co-founder Beverley Kroll becomes chairman.

Spanish Broadcasting Systems (US) has promoted Jackie Nosti-Cambo to vice president of business analytics.

The Marketing Workshop (US) has appointed former DSS Research executive Brian Gantt as senior research manager.

Mesh Planning (UK) has hired Anthony Clifton as client experience director.

TNS has named James May, formerly of Kantar, as executive vice president for the southeast US region.

Marketing and analytic consultancy iKnowtion (US) has hired the former Prophet associate partner Niren Sirohi as vice president of the company’s predictive analytics practice.

Questor, based in Minnesota, has hired Jaya Pathak as a senior consultant in its global survey research division.
