The latest appointments and promotions in the global market research and consumer insight industry. This week:

MarketVision (US) has promoted three to senior research associate level: Lauren Arnos in marketing sciences, and Martha Broda and Amanda Kerns in client services. Diane Hesse has joined the firm as a moderator.

Healthcare specialist Insight Research Group (UK) has promoted Jon Simons to director.

Oracle Added Value has appointed Matthew Carr as deputy managing director of the Hong Kong office and Arthur Tam as head of talent development for Greater China.

Voodoo Research (UK) has appointed Lucy Baldwin, ex-GfK Media, and Florence Clark, a former intern, as research executives.

JRA Research (UK) has promoted Paul Sutton to associate director.

Consumer energy market researcher Parks Associates (US) has appointed Tom Kerber as head of its home systems and energy management research practice.

Ad agency McKinney (US) has promoted Heather Rigney to director of insights and analytics.

Marketing effectiveness agency Ninah Consulting (UK) has hired Colin Bunn, Nunwood’s former MD of marketing analytics, as director.

Nunwood has appointed Marcia Node as account director in Auckland, New Zealand. She previously worked for Nielsen and Tower Insurance. Meanwhile, in the UK the firm has made four promotions: Jill Sarsfield becomes account director, Debbie Wykes and Anna-Lena Bock become senior client consultants and Rachel Stern was made insight manager.

The Marketing Workshop (US) has hired Tatyana Bacon as research manager. She joins from Deep Blue Insight Group. James Colvin joins from Nielsen as marketing science analyst.

Ipsos (UK) has hired Carolyn Chamberlain, formerly of Praxis Research & Consulting, as healthcare director.

Conquest (UK) has appointed Catherine Heaney, ex-HPI, as associate director, Shiraz Damji, ex-Ipsos ASI, as senior account executive and graduate researchers Tim Sanders and Bliss Anderson.

Ipsos has hired Luc Durand as president of its teams in Quebec, Canada. He joins from local agency Bleaublancrouge, which specialises in marketing communications and advertising.

Deena Amato-McCoy has joined US research agency Aberdeen Group as a research analyst within the retail and banking practice. She was previously a journalist.

Online research agency i-Link has hired Richard Tucker as client services manager in Melbourne and Szetho Wei Shen as regional business development manager in Singapore. Tucker was previously at Toluna and Lightspeed in the UK and Cint in Australia. Wei Shin comes from TNS.

Amy Chai has joined pharma research agency Instar (Hong Kong) as director of business development in Asia. She has previously worked with Millward Brown, Synovate and WorldOne.

Quadrangle (UK) has hired Dan Leaman as finance and commercial director. The firm has also hired GfK NOP’s Natalie Eaton as quantitative business manager and senior research executives Winston Chesterfield, Jessica Snow and Anna Williams, all previously of Opinion Leader. Leanne Brooks, formerly of Brookdale, has been recruited to support the finance team, while Antony Tuttle has been brought in as office manager.

Annahita Mackee has been promoted to account director at ethnography agency Naked Eye.

Emnos (Germany) has hired Conrad Pozsgai as chief operating officer. He previously spent 10 years with sister company Payback.
