People on the move

The latest appointments and promotions in the global market research and consumer insight industry. This week: CMI, Bonamy Finch, Adenyo, Leapfrog, Motally, Synovate, The Oxford Research Agency, Simpson Carpenter, MMR Group and GfK NOP.

Full-service research agency CMI in the US has appointed ALISA HAMILTON as senior project manager and MATT ORENSTEIN and NICOLE STOVER as assistant project managers. Hamilton has worked on both the client and agency side during her career with spells at Edge Healthcare Research and the American Cancer Society while Orenstein worked in programming research at Turner Broadcasting.

UK-based research and analytics agency Bonamy Finch has hired VICTORIA ARAMAYO as a research executive. She joins from Electrolux in Sweden where she worked on global trends research.

TAREK AMMAR has been named as the new Esomar representative for Lebanon. He is the founder and chief executive officer of ARA Research & Consultancy.

US mobile marketing software firm Adenyo has appointed CHRIS MATYS as chief analytics officer and MARK WRIGHT as director of marketing. Matys previously spent 20 years with Nielsen, which included a spell as chief information officer for Asia Pacific, and Wright was previously at Research in Motion.

Leapfrog Research & Planning in the UK has appointed SUSANNAH PALMER as research manager and ABIGAIL MOORCOCK as research executive. Palmer was previously a research manager in the media division at GfK NOP and Moorcock joins from TNS Research International.

US mobile analytics firm Motally has added former M:Metrics co-founder and Jupiter Research executive SEAMUS McATEER to its board of directors. The firm has also appointed RAND SHULMAN, founder of the Web Analytics Association, to its advisory board.

MANFRED EBERLEIN has been given the role of healthcare leader for Western Europe at Synovate. He is currently country manager for Synovate Healthcare in Germany, a role that he will retain.

The Oxford Research Agency in the UK has appointed CRAIG STRUDLEY as an associate director in its customer experience division. He joins from Buckingham Research Associates and has also worked at TNS and GfK Marketing Services UK.

RACHEL FRASER has joined full service research agency Simpson Carpenter in the UK as director of the retail and consumer team. She was previously a director at brand strategy consultancy Clear and has also worked on the client side with Cadbury Trebor Bassett.

The MMR Group in the UK has appointed EVELYN JOSLIN as a research director and JEROME LINDER as director of the Brandphonics emotion-based research division. Joslin joins from Proctor & Gamble and Linder was previously at flavour and fragrance company Firmenich. The firm has also promoted JEANETTE KAYE from director to deputy managing director of its HRW healthcare arm and JEANETTE MACDONALD to head of the UKFS fieldwork company.

AMRITA SOOD and MICHAEL THOMPSON have been promoted to divisional directors at GfK NOP. They will jointly lead the eight-strong qualitative team within the social research division.
