The latest appointments in the global market research industry, including Nielsen, CMI, Cint, Facts International and more.

Atlanta-based MR agency CMI has hired JEAN FASCHING as vice president of business development. She was previously a senior vice president at Research International (now merged with TNS), and prior to that ran her own firm, JFK Market Research. Fasching will be based in Minnesota.

Nielsen has appointed AMIT ADARKAR as vice president of its NPD business, Bases. Adarkar, who was formerly managing director of Market Probe’s India and Middle East operations, will be based in Mumbai.

YouGovStone – the joint venture of pollster YouGov and business consultant Carole Stone – has appointed KATE ROBERTSON as a non-executive director. Robertson was formerly UK group chairman at Euro RSCG.

Prescient, part of the Loewy Group, has hired DEBRA CRUSH as associate director. Crush previously worked in consumer research at McDonald Baily.

Cint has hired CLARE McHATTON, formerly client development director at Verve Partners, as associate director in its UK team. It has also appointed VALERIE LEJEUNE as project manager in its Barcelona office.

Spring Research has promoted LUCIE HOLLIDAY to associate director and ABIGAIL HILL to research executive. The agency said the appointments were made after several significant client wins including Unilever, Cancer Research UK and T-Mobile.

Behavioural researcher Sentient Decision Science has appointed DERBY SWANSON as director of market research. Swanson joins from Applied Marketing Science (AMS), and also spent three years working for the Episcopal Diocese of Massachussetts.

DAVID WHITE has been appointed director of syndicated service at pharma researcher The Research Partnership. His main focus will be on the firm’s online tracking tool Therapy KnowlEdge.

London-based FieldWorks has appointed RAY LINDLEY as commercial development manager. Lindley joins from TNS.

MATHEW FRANCIS has been appointed as commercial director of UK pharma research agency Zaicom Research Plus.

HANNAH TRILL has joined Facts International’s insight and marketing team as senior insight executive. She previously spent two years as a senior research executive at Synovate.
