Pearl.com awarded $25m private equity funding

US— Pearl.com, an online Q&A community offering access to professionals such as doctors, lawyers and vets, has been awarded $25m in a series B round funding from investors Crosslink Capital, Glynn Capital and Charles Schwab.

The new funding takes the total invested in the company to date past $50m. T

Pearl.com CEO Andy Kurtzig said it will use the cash to “deliver an even more personalised website experience for our customers, and make our service even more accessible by increasing our mobile applications”.

To support its growth, Pearl.com has appointed Erik Zech, formerly of Real Goods Solar, as its first chief financial officer.
