Panintelligence expands to US
The office will initially serve as a base for staff seconded from the UK office, with the company planning to recruit in-market staff by the end of 2020.
The Leeds-headquartered business was part of financial services firm Pancredit before undergoing a management buyout in 2014. Its business intelligence and analytics platform was initially developed in the finance and credit sectors and now has around 200,000 users globally in industries including retail, education and healthcare.
Panintelligence recently began its first US contract with retail app developer PCMS and is working on beta testing projects in the Boston area.
Zandra Moore, chief executive at Panintelligence, said: “The US has been of interest for some time, as UK clients were increasingly deploying our platform across borders with many users based in the US. After meeting with market experts from the British Consulate in Boston, and visiting the city twice and testing the water, it’s been an easy decision to invest in opening the doors of our first overseas base in Boston.”
The office will be based at the Cambridge Innovation Centre’s Milk Street location.
