PAC buys Berlecon Research
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Berlecon, which focuses particularly on mobile technology and cloud computing, remains under the leadership of Nicole Dufft, formerly the company’s managing director, who now becomes a senior vice president of PAC.
Frédéric Munch, managing director of PAC Germany, said that the two firms, which have co-operated on various projects since 2009, “now have an even broader base and can set new standards thanks to our combined expertise”.
Dufft said: “My team and I are very pleased to be part of the PAC Group… We are now able to offer our clients a complete portfolio of market analyses and consulting expertise on all ICT topics from a single source. This includes full access to the global resources and research programs of PAC.”
PAC, whose existing German office is in Munich, also gains a presence in Berlin through the deal. The firm is headquartered in Paris and also has offices in the US, the UK, Brazil and Romania.
