US— Outdoor Channel has promoted Denise Conroy-Galley to executive vice president for marketing and research.
Conroy-Galley has led the TV network’s research and marketing activities since joining as its first director of research in 2004. She went on to become its VP of marketing in 2006.
She said: “I look forward to expanding and leveraging Outdoor Channel’s passionate audience through strategic and creative promotional programmes.”
Before joining the company, Conroy-Galley ran her own sports marketing agency and worked in marketing for companies including Straightline (a division of US Steel) and management consultancy Hatch Beddows.
Last year, Outdoor Channel launched Outdoor Channel Corps, a programme of projects in which volunteers work to conserve and improve America’s public land.
