UK – The Market Research Society (MRS) has named the finalists of this year’s Operations Awards, known as ‘the Oppies’.
The Operations Awards scheme celebrates organisations, teams and individuals on the operations and support side of the industry.
This year’s awards will be presented on 26th September at Drake & Morgan in Kings Cross, London, and had a record number of entries this year, as well as two new categories: Operations Future Leader and RAS Independent Recruiter of the Year.
The Premier Award – Operational Excellence, sponsored by Bilendi & Respondi, has eight finalists: Bulbshare, Cobalt Sky, Hall & Partners, IFF Research, Potentia Insight, Rigour Research, RONIN International and Sense:lab.
Best Data Collection – Interviewer Administered, sponsored by IQCS, will be contested by B2B International, Hall & Partners, Ipsos, Prevision Research and RONIN International.
Best Online Data Collection, Quantitative, which is sponsored by Prevision Research, has Cobalt Sky, Face Facts Research, Giraffe Insights, QRS Market Research, RONIN International and The Research Partnership as finalists.
The award for Best Data Solution, sponsored by I-view London, has 13 finalists: Behaviorally, Blue Yonder Research, ESA Retail, Ipsos, Ipsos Jarmany, Mintel Leap, Novartis & Market Logic Software, SampleNinja LLC, Savanta & Samsung, Sky UK, Stravito, Streetbees, and Unilever.
Best Online Qual, sponsored by Perspective, is contested between Bilendi & Respondi & Zinc Network, Bolt Insight, Brand Jar, Bulbshare, Discuss, Dscout & HSBC UK, and Net Natives.
Best Support Services, sponsored by Criteria, has two finalists – Empower Translate and E-Tabs.
Best Training and Development, sponsored by Hannelius Recruitment, has Aytm, B2B International, Epinion Research, IFF Research and Ipsos as finalists.
Best Viewing Facility is contested between Aspect in View, Babble Research, I-view London, PRS IN VIVO, Reflections Manchester, Sense:lab and Spectrum.
Operations Future Leader, with Catalyse Research as sponsor, has seven finalists: Cassandra Rankin at Ipsos UK, Laura Butterworth at FlexMR, Molly Ebdon at Angelfish Fieldwork, Priya Suri at Smart Connect Research, Samantha Garlick at Acumen Fieldwork, Samantha Morrisroe at IFF Research, and Verity Game at Strat7 Incite.
The award for Recruitment Excellence, sponsored by InsightX Research Solutions, will be contested between BEAM Fieldwork, Brand Ignite, Face Facts Research, Research Opinions, RONIN International, Smart Connect Research and Viewpoint.
RAS Independent Recruiter of the Year, sponsored by IThoughts, was won by Caitlin Patterson, recruiting for BEAM Fieldwork, and Best Sustainable Operations, sponsored by Axiom Translate, has been won by B2B International.
