Northstar names new London-based principal

UK — Northstar Research Partners has appointed Noah Roychowdhury (pictured) as principal in its London office, reporting to MD Matthew Sell.

Roychowdhury joins Northstar from a background in brand strategy, and has been appointed to broaden the range of services on offer to clients from market research and brand consultancy. One of his main roles will be spearheading the offer of insight-led strategy programmes for clients, which will deliver in close collaboration with world-leading experts in behaviour analysis and consumer anthropology. He will also be taking an active  role in BRIC and emerging market programmes.

Roychowdhury has previously worked with a number of multinationals on their brand development initiatives, and has also acted as a strategic marketing consultant for major UK government departments, and for a number of international governments and NGOs.

He started his career in research working for clients such as Shell, Oracle, Ford Motor Company and Jaguar.
