New business UK

UK — Northstar Research Partners has been commissioned by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts to undertake a study exploring the motivations and barriers to membership.

The study, covering markets including ASEAN, EMEA, the EU and Caribbean, will gather the opinions of young people, parents of youngsters, influencers and relevant government stakeholders.

Sally Elkes, membership development director from the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, said: “We are delighted to appoint Northstar to help us undertake a crucial piece of membership research that will inform our future strategy.

“We were impressed by Northstar’s ability to address the complexity of our requirements within ambitious deadlines.”

Noah Roychowdhury, principal and lead for the project at Northstar UK, added: “This project has very specific challenges but our team welcomes the opportunity to work with an organisation with 10 million members spread across 145 markets and believes we will get some great insights that will really drive their organization forward.”
