Norstat names UK and Ireland MD

O’Connell (pictured) was previously managing director of UK operations at Dynata, a role he held from 2019, and has prior experience at Research Now and SSI.

During his career, O’Connell has developed both existing and new business across sectors including research, media, healthcare, corporates and consultancies in the UK and Republic of Ireland, as well as managing sales and operations during transitional periods.

The appointment is part of Norstat’s strategy to continue growth in UK and the Republic of Ireland, and follows the company’s acquisition of Panelbase in July 2023, with the company fully integrated into its new parent firm by January 2024.
