NIPO Software launches interview channel for Android phones

NETHERLANDS — Data collection software provider NIPO Software has launched an interview channel on Android mobile phones for its multi-mode data collection platform.

Nfield CAPI for Android is the first interview channel for NIPO Software’s data collection platform Nfield, and is targeted at face2face surveys while using quota based sampling techniques and is released as Software as a Service, running in the Microsoft Windows Azure cloud.

The software has customisable, interactive questions like drag-and-drop, click-and-fly, sliders and calendars, and a theming setup that allows customers to change the look and feel of questionnaires.

Jeroen Noordman, managing director of NIPO Software, said: “Nfield CAPI for Android is the first mode we release for Nfield. With Nfield CAPI for Android our customers have access to all of NIPO Software’s powerful interviewing capabilities. But now they can also take full benefit of mobile capabilities, for example by taking pictures or capturing GPS locations.”
