NielsenIQ expands partner network to Europe and Asia

US – NielsenIQ, formerly Nielsen Global Connect, has expanded its ‘Connect Partner Network’ marketplace for data and tools for retail and the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry to Asia and Europe.

Nielsen Global Connect provides access to a range of companies and tools to help enhance Nielsen data and services already purchased by a member organisation. The network was set up in 2016 and has previously operated in the US.

The network allows members to work with a common dataset to facilitate insights and data sharing on issues such as demand planning, data harmonisation, machine learning, and artificial intelligence-driven promotion.

The expansion of the network follows the decision last year to split the business in two and sell Nielsen Global Connect, with a rebrand as NielsenIQ completed last month.
