Newly launched sampling site offers consumer products for free

News North America

US — A new sampling site, PINCHme, has launched in the US.

PINCHme is a product sampling site that allows consumers to trial products from leading brands for free, in exchange for their insights and feedback. For its US debut, PINCHme has signed P&G, Unilever, Coty, Johnson & Johnson, Kraft and Reckitt Benckiser.

Members can choose which products to trial on a bi-weekly basis. Their chosen products are then delivered for free and they have 30 days to provide feedback via a mini survey. Members can share with others via social media and have the option to purchase products via a ‘buy now’ feature, redirecting members to retailers where the products are sold.

PINCHme was founded in July 2012 in Australia and has since partnered with more than 50 CPG brands and attracted more than 500,000 members.

Jeremy Reid, PINCHme founder, said: “With the explosion of social media and mobile technology, there has been a structural shift in the way in which the leading brands are interacting with their consumers.”

“PINCHme is leading this transformation with an innovative digital platform, where members will be offered a range of leading brand products bi-weekly to trial at no cost to them, in exchange for their insights on the product and sharing their experience via social media. The participating brands will be provided with their product insights in real-time, along with the attached member demographics, delivering a powerful analytical tool for better understanding their consumers’ needs and ultimately growing their product sales.”
