New video series to inform more accessible quant research

The series aims to help researchers, agencies, survey designers, panel companies, fieldwork companies and clients develop more inclusive and accessible surveys.
In the ‘Count Me In’ series, contributors with lived experience of accessibility barriers or enablers in quantitative research share their perspective on the research journey, including frustrations and barriers they have faced.
Contributors also discuss how survey design, navigation, question formats and technology can affect participation and share their views on practical changes researchers can make.
MRS Unlimited is an industry group and network focusing on disability inclusion in research.
Charlotte Jones, research and insight officer at RNIB and member of the MRS Unlimited inclusive research steering group, said: “Count Me In shines a spotlight on perspectives that are too often missing from quantitative research. By hearing directly from people with different lived experiences and access needs, we hope to encourage researchers to design more inclusive studies from the outset.
“Ultimately, better inclusion leads to better evidence by ensuring a wider range of voices and experiences are represented in the insights we generate.”
The series has launched with three contributors and MRS Unlimited has invited further contributions from participants and those working in the research sector.
