New sales and partnerships leaders at Catalina

US – Buyer intelligence and digital media company Catalina has appointed West Naze as senior vice-president, US digital sales and promoted Brian Dunphy to senior vice-president, digital business and strategic partnerships.

Naze (pictured, left) joins the business from Eyeview, where he was head of industry for consumer packaged goods, shopper marketing and retail. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at News America Marketing, a division of News Corp. He has worked with clients including P&G, Bayer, Kraft-Heinz and Kellogg’s.

In the newly created role, Naze will focus on direct-to-consumer initiatives and work with members of the sales team to build the company’s digital presence.

Tom Corley, global chief revenue officer at Catalina, said: "In addition to leading our digital sales team, West will train and mentor our senior sales leaders on the digital landscape to ensure we are well-positioned to take advantage of the opportunity in front of us." 

Dunphy (pictured, right), previously vice-president and general manager, digital advertising and promotions, joined Catalina in August 2018. In his new role, he is responsible for strategy and partnership development with the aim of increasing the reach of the company’s data services on digital platforms. He reports to Kevin Hunter, chief product officer and head of innovation.

Hunter said: "Brian has been playing a key role in developing our programmatic, go-to-market approach which will soon roll out. He and his team will both manage our existing partnerships and build relationships with new partners to continuously enhance Catalina’s product offerings and capabilities."
