New hires at MEL Research

UK – Social research agency MEL Research has appointed Bianca Bailey Wilson as head of evaluation and Amanda Brightman as field team manager.

Bianca Bailey Wilson

Wilson (pictured) has 15 years of experience in research, evaluation, social policy and public affairs, specialising in impact and evidencing outcomes, theory of change development, and participatory research and co-design.

She will bolster the evaluation team’s depth and capacity, supporting clients to generate evidence and actionable insight.

Brightman held management roles within consumer services and fraud before her market research career, and has since worked across CATI, quality and compliance, and field and recruitment. 

She will oversee the planning and delivery of fieldwork activities, ensuring projects remain on track and meet quality standards.

MEL Research is based in Birmingham and works with clients across a range of sectors including health, education, housing, culture and heritage and wider public sector research.

Managing director Karen Etheridge said: “Bianca and Amanda bring valuable expertise that strengthens our offer in evaluation and fieldwork delivery, helping us continue to support clients with confidence.
