New hires at Blue Marble
Boelman (pictured right) and Treppass (pictured left) both join from Traverse, where they worked within the companies’ utilities department.
Traverse closed late last year, citing the current economic situation.
Mixed-methods practitioner Boelman has worked across the UK and Netherlands over the past two decades, including at Accent and TNS as well as Traverse, focusing on the water and energy sectors.
Treppass focuses on qualitative work and specialises in utilities, infrastructure and the public sector, particularly sustainability issues, and has also been a local councillor in London.
In their new roles, Treppass and Boelman will complement Blue Marble’s existing work in water and energy research.
Eades has joined Blue Marble after six years teaching geography in schools and completing a masters in anthropology, and her new role is as a mixed-methods researcher.
Tom Clarkson, managing director at Blue Marble, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Amelie, Brigid and Olivier to our growing team.
“We’re confident that that the new trio will play a vital role in ensuring our ongoing success – not least by making the most of their skills and expertise on topics around climate change and what this means for the future of British society, which is a core area of specialism for us.”
