US— The Web Analytics Association has appointed Mike Levin as its new executive director.
Levin joins the organisation from the Oracle Applications Users Group, where he was also executive director and responsible for managing the relationship with Oracle and all operations including membership, education, sponsorship and international alliances.
Before that he was executive director of the American Electronics Association’s South West regional office.
In his new role Levin will be responsible for providing the WAA with strategic direction and taking it to “the next level of leadership in the analytics industry”.
WAA chairman Jim Sterne said: “The WAA has been growing steadily over the years with the help of our association management company, Virtual Inc., and dedicated volunteers, and I’m overwhelmingly impressed with the progress we have made to date. Mike Levin represents the talent that we need to kick things into high gear, and he has the experience and the passion to take us to the next level. I am delighted, thrilled and grateful that Mike has joined us.”
