New chief people officer at InSites Consulting

BELGIUM – Insight agency InSites Consulting has appointed Els De Paepe as chief people officer, taking over from Quentin Ashby, who moves to a role leading environmental, social and governance (ESG) for the business.

Ashby, formerly chief executive of Join the Dots, has been chief people officer at InSites since it bought Join the Dots in 2019. He now takes up a newly created position as global head of ESG, a role InSites described as “necessary” in making a positive contribution for “people, business, the research industry and the world at large”.

De Paepe (pictured) has held strategic and operational human resources roles in the technology industry, at businesses including Qover and Barco.

She will lead the company’s people office, which covers people and culture, office experience and IT operations, working with head of office experience Cathérine Tück, and head of IT operations Gunter Van de Velde.

InSites has acquired several businesses in recent years, including Gongos and Space Doctors, and De Paepe’s responsibilities will include integrating new acquisitions in addition to managing employee experience.

Kristof De Wulf, chief executive at InSites, said: “Following our intensive buy-and-build strategy, we are ready to create something new that is relevant and binding for everyone. We’re excited to see Els bring a fresh perspective to our business and our people, having built merits and experience outside of our industry.”
