UK – Research consultancy Traverse has appointed Nick Johnson as its new chief executive officer, replacing Terry Parker, who retired last month.
Johnson (pictured) is founder of low-alcohol drinks company Spirit of Bermondsey and previously served as brand strategist at Meat Global Brand Consultancy and managing director of Volante Research.
Outside research, Johnson was leader of the majority opposition group at Southwark Council and serves as non-executive director of RestorativeJustice4All, a community interest company focusing on criminal justice.
Traverse is employee owned, and focuses on research into social issues.
Chih Hoong Sin, chair of the board at Traverse, said: “It was important for us to appoint a new chief executive who shares our passion for social impact and inclusive decision making, in addition to bringing the commercial acumen and innovative mindset to help Traverse evolve for the future.”
