AUSTRIA— Emanuel Maxl has been re-elected as chair of the Austrian research association VMÖ until 2012.
Maxl is head of market and usability research at interactive media researcher Evolaris Next Level.
Oliver Ratschka of the Austrian Marketing University of Applied Sciences will serve as deputy chair, while other board members include Walter Feldkircher of Austrian Airlines, Ursula Seethaler of Kier Communication Consultants, Klaus Draskowitsch of outdoor advertising firm EPAMedia, Ingrid Lusk of research agency Karmasin and Tina Engstfeld of social research agency IFES.
Maxl (pictured) said a considerable part of the team’s work involves strengthening the trust of the public and clients in professional market research. Other priorities will include encouraging and supporting young talent, ensuring quality through international standards, and providing opportunities for networking and exchanging expertise.
