Mystery shopping firm Dive snaps up Poland’s MRtec

EUROPE – Northern European mystery shopping firm Dive has snapped up Polish mystery shopping outfit MRtec, as it looks to broaden its appeal to clients and up its presence in Poland.

Dive has offices in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, the Baltic States, as well as Poland, where it is looking to up its presence with the purchase of MRtec.

No financial details of the deal were disclosed.

Kerli Soosaar, CEO, Dive, said the acquisition of MRtec, which was founded in 2014, presented multiple benefits to Dive.

Soosaar said: ”This acquisition will enhance Dive Poland’s offerings and strengthen its presence in the Polish market even more. 

“It will allow us to offer more diversified and comprehensive mystery shopping services to our clients, and we're excited to see what the future holds for our combined company.”

Piotr Pszczolkowski, founder and owner of MRtec, said, "I am confident that this acquisition will lead to great things for merged teams and customers. I look forward to seeing the growth and evolvement under the leadership of Dive.”

It is unclear if there will be any job cuts following the acquisition.  

One personnel change will see Michał Stawski (pictured), current managing director of MRtec, who will also become the managing director of Dive Poland.

"I am excited to continue my role in leading our joined teams and to work with Dive to bring even more innovative and effective mystery shopping solutions to our customers," said Stawski.

Dive is part of the STATCO holding ground of data and research-related companies.

Warsaw-based MRtec’s offering includes e-mystery shopping, store checks, and NPS (Net Promoter Score) surveys, gauging customer loyalty levels for specific brands.
