MRUC seeks agency for extended Indian Outdoor Survey

Asia Pacific

INDIA— The Media Research Users Council is looking for a research agency to carry out an expanded version of the Indian Outdoor Survey that will see the advertising study’s scope widen to cover six more cities.

The survey covered outdoor advertisements in Mumbai and Pune last year but will be extended to cover Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Chennai.

MRUC said that the survey aims to “develop a universal tool/standard industry currency for planning, buying, selling and evaluating” investments in outdoor advertising and creating a “credible and up-to-date” inventory of out of home (OOH) advertising sites listed by market and ad format.

Outdoor advertising sites that will be catalogued include bus shelters, billboards, bridges, flyovers, kiosks and public utilities.

Details about the tender can be found here.
