UK – The Market Research Benevolent Association (MRBA) is running a series of Christmas fundraising events to raise money for researchers affected by Covid-19.
The events, taking place 7-11th December, will include a virtual pub quiz, a detox stretching session and a Christmas jumper social media challenge.
Funds raised from the events will support people working in insights financially – for example, to help pay bills and rent – and educationally ( paying for bursaries for the MRS Advanced Certificate). Money will also be used to fund mental health support services.
Ian Brace, chairman of MRBA, said: “Christmas is the time for people to unite, and this year we urgently need the market research sector to come together to help each other. We’ve successfully helped hundreds of people over the years, and this year we want to help even more so that everyone can enjoy a truly merry Christmas”.
