Researchers can use the units to conduct biometric and AI-based consumer research at locations including events, workplaces and healthcare facilities.

The iMotions behaviour research software platform synchronises and analyses biometric data. It is used by organisations to access nonconscious emotional, cognitive and behavioural data and generate behavioural insights.

The units will offer access to methods such as eye tracking, galvanic skin response, pulse rate monitoring, emotional analysis and the iMotions platform, to offer understanding of how participants engage with messaging, advertising, websites, products, packaging and experiences.

Neurovantage is initially launching the labs in Northern Ohio and plans to expand into other US markets during the next year.

Shon Christy, president and founder, Neurovantage, said: “Our mobile labs are designed to meet people where they are – at events, campuses, retail locations, healthcare facilities, workplaces and communities that have traditionally been difficult to reach.”

In addition to its mobile labs, Neurovantage is introducing a remote data collection platform that allows participants to share biometric insights from home using their webcam and browser.
