MMR Research names commercial director for Asia
Inamdar (pictured) was previously director of market intelligence at GfK in India, which involved leading a large team handling multi-national clients.
Before working at GfK, Inamdar worked at Nielsen, most recently as commercial director – retail measurement at the firm’s Malaysia office.
Other roles at Nielsen included spells working in India, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and China.
At MMR Research, Inamdar will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships with brands and manufacturers in Asia.
Inamdar will report to Mark Sismey, managing director for MMR Asia, and will also lead the expansion of the firm’s consulting services across the continent.
MMR is a global consumer and sensory research agency that is headquartered in the UK and has offices in China, India, Thailand, Singapore, the US, Brazil, Colombia and South Africa.
Sismey said: “We are excited to have Mihir on board. Mihir’s extensive experience across international markets will help brands and manufacturers in the region make the most of MMR’s world class sensory and research capabilities to unlock exciting new opportunities.”
