SINGAPORE – Consumer and sensory research agency MMR Research Worldwide is to open a new research facility in the Pasir Panjang area of Singapore.
The facility (pictured) will focus on sensory insights and include preparation and testing facilities for panels and help support consumer research studies.
MMR Research said the facility would cover projects across Singapore and neighbouring countries such as Thailand and Malaysia.
Margaux Ducatillon, head of sensory for Asia-Pacific at MMR Research, said: “This new state of the art research facility and its extensive preparation areas, will highly benefit the region enabling more consumer-packaged goods across more categories to develop best-in-world products.”
Mark Sismey, managing director for Asia-Pacific at MMR Research, said: “More clients are realising consumers’ increased appetite for experiences, as well as the significance that sensory theatre plays in delivering this.
“Given this fact, it grew increasingly important for us to increase our capacity to facilitate and accommodate this growing need.”
