Mintel launches deep research tool

UK – Market intelligence and research agency Mintel has released a new tool to help customers answer complex business questions using information from Mintel’s analysis of product launches.

New product signange

The tool, called GNPD Deep Research, is part of the Mintel Global New Products Database, and allows users to ask complex questions in natural language and receive recommendations based on product launches analysed by Mintel.

GNPD Deep Research is supported by AI and is built to help users avoid navigating databases for information, with the tool designed to use existing product intelligence to answer any queries.

Matt Nelson, global chief executive at Mintel, said: “Innovation teams are being asked to make better decisions, without increasing risk.

GNPD Deep Research fits naturally into the way our clients work, helping them get from an innovation question to a clear answer much faster.”

Polly Chan, senior vice-president, global product development, at Mintel, added that GNPD Deep Research “enables more people across an organisation to answer complex innovation questions without needing deep platform expertise”.
