US – Neuroscience health technology company MetaBrain Labs has appointed Mark Hammond as chief operating officer (COO), effective from 1st November.
Hammond joins the business from the startup investment sector, where he has held various business development and strategic roles, working with organisations including SoftBank, Amazon, and ExxonMobil.
At MetaBrain Labs, Hammond will lead fundraising initiatives while overseeing the operational management of the company.
The business said the appointment is a ‘strategic move’ to achieve its vision of applying neuroscience insights to improve mental and physical health.
Founded in 2021 by Alexandrea Day, MetaBrain Labs’s brain-computer interface technology can be used to study the unconscious mind. The company is headquartered in Seattle.
