Merkle Periscopix promotes Guilfoyle

UK – Dentsu Aegis-owned performance marketing company Merkle has promoted Adam Guilfoyle to head of agency sales for Merkle Periscopix (MPX).

Guilfoyle (pictured) joined MPX in 2017 as commercial lead for programmatic. In the newly created role, he will be responsible for leading all new business activity, including pitches, prospecting and managing the company’s sales pipeline.

He will also work with Merkle’s Marketing Solutions division on opportunities around the company’s people-based marketing offer.

The appointment follows MPX’s addition of new clients including Diageo, William Hill and Trainline.

Thomas Byrne, senior vice-president of agency services EMEA at Merkle, said: “Adam has shown strategic leadership of local, regional and global pitches, at both a Merkle and DAN levels. He has my full confidence.”

Merkle acquired Periscopix in 2015.
