Merkle names Emea COO

UK – Technology and data-led customer experience management firm Merkle, part of media company Dentsu, has appointed Christiane Georg as chief operating officer for its Europe, Middle East and Africa (Emea) business.

In her new role, Georg (pictured) will implement technology-based business and operating models, drive automation and growth in the business across the region.

Before joining Merkle, Georg led the Emea digital strategy and solutions practice at Information Services Group.

Margaret Wagner, president at Merkle Emea, said: “I am thrilled to have Christiane join our Emea leadership team. Her deep experience in business innovation, large-scale digital transformation and operational excellence is critical in today’s environment, as we advance and optimise our offering.
