MedSpan appoints Epstein as director of research services

US — MedSpan Research has appointed United BioSource Corporation’s (UBC) Michael Epstein as director, research services. He will be based in the company’s newly opened Rochester, New York office.

Epstein (pictured) joins MedSpan with over 13 years of experience in the healthcare arena. At UBC, he led global strategic engagements on behalf of life sciences manufacturers and he has previously worked as a researcher in the field for agencies including Roger Green + Associates, TVG Marketing Research and Consulting and Harris Interactive.

At MedSpan, he will be responsible for managing execution of the company’s research and consulting services. Epstein has experience in this field, having evaluated behavioural health interventions at the University of Rochester’s Children’s Institute.
