US— Jennifer Marino has been appointed senior partner and director of consumer insights at marketing and media communications agency Mediacom.
She joins the firm from Johnson & Johnson/Neutrogena Cosmetics where she was associate director for global strategic insights and new ventures marketing. Before being promoted to this role she was associate director, global strategic insights for Johnson & Johnson’s consumer products skin care division where she was in charge of all consumer and syndicated consumer research for the Aveeno and Ambi brands.
Earlier in her career, she was director of consumer insights and strategy at handbag manufacturer Coach and held a range of research roles at Avon Products.
Mediacom’s chief client officer Euan Jarvie said: “We strongly believe that cultivating a deep understanding of a brand’s consumers is the key to driving the strongest possible business results for our clients. And quite simply, we want to do this better than anyone else in the industry. Bringing Jennifer on board is further evidence of our commitment and investment in our consumer insights capabilities.”
