CHINA— Media Monitors Group has acquired China Clipping, a Beijing-based firm offering media monitoring and quantitative media analysis.
The Chinese firm will operate as a brand within Media Monitors, which is active in 15 countries across the Asia Pacific region. Media Monitors said that the new acquisition would complement services on offer through media analysis firm Media Monitors Sinofile, which it acquired in 2008.
Media Monitors Group CEO John Croll (pictured) said: “This important step will provide our Chinese and multi-national clients with increased access to media information and analysis across China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Accessing the skills and resources of China Clipping will allow us to stay ahead of our clients’ media intelligence in a dynamic media landscape, providing them with an even better service and a more comprehensive range of products.”
